Popham questions

Postby Kaleb » Wed Jul 13, 2016 11:59 am

I decided to rejoin Salem after a long respite. I played back when there were 3 towns and the tribe was the biggest pain in the game.
since I didn't want to refresh my memory with an older toon, I decided to make an alt and noticed a new town called popham (sp).

My question is how do I get to the main town to sell? If I can't sell how does one get nails to start?
Where is this ark I see referenced in the forums?

Thanks in advance.

providence and popham are two separate servers. Of the two, popham has some specific rules to encourage pvp - it is set to end in a relatively short amoutn of time (unknown exactly how long, but it's been dragging on for a fair while now).
the goal of providence is to keep going indefinitely, and launch new expedition servers like popham every once in a while.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

It's not ended yet. New expidion will start some time after this one ends. There is no set date when it starts.

ROFL... we haven't heard that already a few times..NO? ((Popham was originally only meant to be a 'short' server... 3-6 months... and it's pushing 15+ months now?!))

Popham toons have a speed factor in gluttony... a few weeks you could create a titan with the right support... and when it ends you could have a legacy toon to bring back that will be significantly higher (at less cost) than you could otherwise create from Scratch on Providence.

Two Cents.

A week ago you were saying 4-6 and 12 months, which is a bit more accurate. It was supposed to go less than a year, though it has been about a year now. We decided we were okay with it going longer since the next expedition server isn't ready yet.

You can still start a character on Popham, and there's no reason not to if you understand that it will end in a little while. You can, if you want, travel to the Family Statue to pray a few times and get a better inheritance of that character on Providence when the server ends. And in the meantime, maybe you'll be the one who finishes the building of the ark or maybe you want to sacrifice your character to Darwoth for domestic animals before the end.

Not sure if my post bugged and didn't post before, or if you also asked elsewhere, or if it got deleted o.o but i was saying the lands of the bittern and that passage in particular goes to talk about swampy places, so perhaps that's part of it!
