Postby admiralchong » Wed Jul 06, 2016 10:04 am

Hey all new player here been watching videos of farming to try and figure out how to till a field. so I can plant some cotton down.

When I click till field and select the area I wish to create a 4x4 farm field nothing happens.

Some videos show others using the area selection tool, how do you access this tool cant seem to figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

This shows you which cell to click to place the field you want.
You can open the landscaping tool by pressing control + L (in Ender's en Latikai's clients).

edit: capital for clarity

In the video pianoman linked, I used Ctrl + L (Ender's Custom Client) to open the selection tool. You will still need to go to Till Field in the build menu and click in the center of the 4x4 to till the field.
