You probably don't have any 3D video drivers installed, quite simply. :)

Update your graphics card drivers.

graphics card updated thanks, not a complete moron XD. also disabled triple buffering and restarted. nothing.
any other suggestions?
a game with the graphics of runescape when i play gw2, i highly doubt its a graphics problem.
thus the error being java based.

It is clearly a driver problem. I see in the error reports that your client has sent that it's using Microsoft's generic GDI driver for OpenGL, which is the root of the actual problem (since it only supports OpenGL 1.1). It might be that you're simply using the driver that came with Windows, rather than the actual video card manufacturer's driver. Some of those default drivers only support DirectX but not OpenGL (which might be why you can play GW2).

If you haven't updated your drivers yet, uninstall them completely and reinstall again with the LATEST NON-BETA Drivers for your specific card and operating system.

Sometimes drivers go kaput and break and until you uninstall completely they never recover.
