Hi, I'm stuck with these skills, this is after a reset, I'm trying not to repeat stuff now



I live near water, I can find grass, wood, animals, rock, there's a forest a bit further, and a swamp crossing the river.

Been trying to advance Cloak & Dagger but according to wiki it's a bunch of stuff I never seen before, or lack the materials and skills.

Is it normal to be this difficult to advance after some time? I'm kinda stuck!

You should try other skills, C&D inspirationals sometimes take a bit of push in order to start. You might want to buy some, people usually sell brains pretty cheap depending on the server.

Also, if you use an inspirational a bunch of times, the learning ability will lower. To reset this to 70%, use an inspirational you haven't used in this study session. Learning ability affects how much proficincey from inspirationals you get.

When a proficincey is maxed (Green color or 500/500, 600/600 etc) click on it and it will raise by 1, such as 500 -> 600, this will reset all other proficiencies though.

You can craft a "Taste of Autumn" inspirational to raise cloak and daggers in the beginning.

Actually, this is a very good beginner inspirational, as it gives you points in Law & Lore, Mines & Mountains and Natural Philosophy, which I always found a bit hard to raise.

My advice for you would be to simply learn whatever skills you can with inspirationals you find and just check what new stuff you can make. At least it was much more fun this way for me instead of following a set path and checking everything up / asking others

Hmm I rechecked tutorials and they seem to be not-so accurate now.

Proficiency tutorial says that you "increase the cap on that particular proficiency" when the meter is completely blue. It should be added that bar turns to green color then. Also tutorial says that this increases cap by 1, which is not true, as it increases the cap by 100, but the proficiency itself is increased by 1. I think it should indicate the difference and point out that cap = proficiency * 100. More screenied would always help
