Could someone explain the scents mechanics? I know a lot but got a total mess in my head now
If i commit a crime it leaves the scents, ok, but do i leave more scents when i derp around, like bleeding animal? Or only once in the place of crime?
(I'm wondering about the blowdarts but dunno what to do with the poisoncraft crime?)

Only when you make a crime, but with the scents they can get to you while you are outside your claim killing animals, it works with an arrow like when searching for a mine, it points directly to your direction. Depending on the crime scents can last days, meaning you should REALLY think you have strong defenses before commiting crime. (they can kill your char while offline).

Edit: you can only get scents in the claim the crime was made, they won't move.

posion darts, dont make them in garden or in town

So i can make darts at home and the scents wil stay only there?
btw there are swarm darts at the market, how does it work?

There are other scents that we do not speak of. ..be careful of everything you do in game.

aka small list of things to NOT do...

1. Don't leave your claim unpaid. especially don't leave a town bell unpaid. very bad juju from any standpoint
2. Do not leave half-butchered animals laying around.
3. Do not plant trees in the wrong biome.
4. Do not feed your turkeys turkey. Nature will get angry.

Depending on the Scent you can be summoned- typically anything using Waste or worse (on the skill tree) which will last 7-30+ days.

My knowledge may be outdated, but if you are a member of a town... all another has to do is be on town land to summon you if you are not online. Most town boundaries exceed actual walls which is something to keep in mind. (Usually you just have to reach their leanto to summon someone... but it's not the same with towns... it's been a while.)
