Someone had claimed my claim stone area - logged in - could not move. I was in my LeanTo and i was not able to teleport, so i turned on criminal acts and when i moved my braziers shot me. What now - Game over? - I consider this a bug ¦]

The braziers are no longer yours since you do not have a claim on them ¦]

It IS game over for your character if the KO occurred under a Blood Moon. Otherwise, you will wake up back at your Lean-to and you will be caught in a KO loop unless the claim owner destroys your lean-to. It is NOT considered a bug by the devs.

Maybe JC should introduce something to help newbies out...like a rule if they die and have less than 15 humores or less than certain scalp score or something....like give them a chance to die.....Once they reach a certain score that chance to die disappears. (I know this could be abusable a lot, but I just wanted to say it) I hate newbies quitting because they die easily, even though I don't like the idea I said, I think there should be some way to help out newbies in these situations.

It takes 1 day to reach 30+ biles straight off a new char if someone can comprehend the tutorial even a little bit without ever having played the game before. That goes for proficiencies aswell.

Most newbies I've helped take more than a week to reach 30+

Heres a little thing i whipped up thinking about what such a notice would say.

"The Moon itself runs red with the mystical forces that have been unleashed, you feel a heavy weight on your mind as you do the days labor, blahblah blah something about getting KOd, as you lose consciousness you feel the weight on your mind bear down and consume your thoughts, memories, and life in a moment of pure terror. You have died Pilgrim, blah blah vague Witchcraft reference.

Something to that effect might help nubs understand why a KO that would normaly not kill them has suddenly made them lose a character.

Your comment is disingenuous at best. Sure, you can reach 30+ HUMORS (not biles) in a day (whatever that means in hours to you). But wtf are talking about when you say "That goes for proficiencies as well"? What goes how far? It's like you are just saying stupid **** to be cool.

A NEW player won't fully understand how and why he/she should push for high humors in the first day. They are often exploring possibilities and dreaming of what they want to become, like a farmer, or hunter, or they just want to build a claim, a house, and some boxes to store all the cool stuff they discovered so far. The effort toward proficiencies is often driven by these desires.

Add being broke, getting robbed, getting scammed, disease, madness, insanity and Blood Moon to everything else a new player is facing and it is not surprising that they might feel that they really tried to understand the game but got blindsided by one element more than they were prepared for.
