Client Wont Load

I'm sorry if this has been covered but i didn't dig through pages and pages of topics,its not stickied anyway. I played before in beta on a different computer and thoroughly enjoyed the game. DLed the client to my new one here to try playing again and had no problems (other than remembering my account password :p ) but when i load the client,i get as far as where it would normally load the world (the GUI) and then the client just quits. i am running windows 7,have 4 GB RAM and 1GB onboard graphics with the latest DirectX and Java,please help!!!

A few things to ask and try here.

Are you using the core client or a custom client?

Next I would suggest you clear you C:\users\{username}\appdata\Salem and try running the client again so you can re-download all the files you will need.

running core,didnt even know customs existed now,should be clean install but ill try again,thx.

Yep there are some custom clients with very neat tools. I suggest latakai personally. That being said just clear all data related to your C:\users folder that is related to Salem then try using the Salem package again. Most likely you got a bad file somewhere that is causing the issue.

If you experience the same problem try taking a screenshot or providing the exact text given in the Java error. I am sure there are a few others that will speak to it if you can provide that as there are a few more that are more intimate with the Salem code then me.
