How do I make the Brick "Over" the Dross? Instead of the way it comes out now?

Bricks are always bottom from what I've seen.

Have you tried digging up the current and repaving with only brick or other in your inventory?

Yea but it changes smetimes. First brick went over stone, now its the other way ;P
