Providence Bank Errors?

Postby Alleykat » Wed Apr 06, 2016 3:10 pm

Hope someone can help me with this! I had xxxx amount of money I had in the bank in Providence. I then deposited more. then I logged in with alt on same account, took alts money and deposited it in my main characters account. Now the amount showing is only the amount I deposited just now from alts purse, and not the total amount. This is not the first time this has happened. Am I doing something wrong? Why is the total amount only the current deposit and not the total amount I had in there in the first place? Thanks for any help and/or advice!

The bank takes 15% of all deposits in the name of the King.

This is probably what you are experiencing. However do you have one alt on providence and another on popham? I would have to double check again but last I recall the banks between the two servers are separate.

Yes, The bank takes 15%, which is better then nothing if one gets plundered, that's why I use the bank, even though it cost a bit. but thanks for offering the info.

No, that's not what I was/am experiencing, but thanks for trying to answer odd question. Here is the scenario - I had over 1000 silver in the Providence bank earlier today after I deposited the results of a few cotton cloth sales. Then I logged out, logged in my alt, and took about 529 from alt's Providence bank account, gave it to my main character, which in turn, I deposited it in the Providence bank. After that transaction I looked to see total in bank, and that's when I discovered I only had the 529 showing in Main's account, which is odd, because it was the exact amount that I withdrew from alt, and deposited in main's account (again at Providence). Doesn't seem like its keeping track. I've had it happen before with another alt, again not a large amount, (but enough to be annoying) it came up as exact same number as I had withdrawn from alt's account, and then deposited in main's account. Very odd, indeed.

All characters on the same user account have the same bank account--or at least mine do.

I believe you are probably mistaken in what you witnessed. However I would suggest that if you want to prove what is happening that you make two alts on another account and step through exactly what you did before with silver numbered in the 100s of silver. If you can provide the steps to reproduce to JC I guarantee you will get a bug hat since he will be able to resolve the bug from clear steps to reproduce.

I only skimmed this thread, and I'm too ***** lazy to do better.

Good luck, bro.

as far as I can tell, my bank tally is in order. then again, it'sbeen ages since I filled it up.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
