After having built a barn, I figured that surely I couldn't build a Pilgrim's Hovel in it.

i was talking about smushing the barn itself:that should spawn all items it contains on the outside. But who knows what will happen on april 1st?

hitbox on barn is not the best. also for flat land!

Soo, I found a way how to put buildings into buildings.
