Hi,
where do I find Singing Old Log? I play for few months now and have not found single one. Also that New World Gourd item seems to be impossible to find.

Hi, you can find them in rotten stumps and I am almost certain I got one from a wood pile spawn that I chopped up when gathering fire wood for my stove. I say almost certain as I didn't notice it in my inventory until I loaded my stove with fire wood and remember at the time trying to think if I had looked in any stumps that day which I was almost certain I didn't.

They are a rare drop and you won't find them often. I did once find 2 singing logs and a petrified log log in the space of 30 mins, so there is a good element of randomness to it.

Which new ground item are you referring to btw?

You can find them in hollow logs, but they are legacy item so new one will not spawn.

This is incorrect, they spawn in hallow logs and stumps in forest-type biomes.
They can also spawn on the ground in coniferous biomes, but are quite rare.

I've personally never gotten one that way, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

I personaly did not got log any way apart from old abandon chest and I played quite lot ower past months

well in that case I searched like 1000 old unsearched stumps and nothing. Also I know some long plaing people and no one of them ever found New World Gourd
