Using Old Stumps and Logs as storage?

Postby Ethnod » Fri Nov 09, 2012 4:43 pm

So is it possible?

Near my first homestead I have 2 old stumps, can they be used as storage or if I dump anything in to them will it disappear over time?

They work as a container just like having baskets or chests. However, old stumps and logs are special in that random items can occasionally spawn in them. It's rare, but you will find goodies--a few silver, snake skin, or even special Inspirationals.

Just one word of warning: if you don't have a personal claim up over it, anyone can walk by and take out of them. Even with that up, someone that has special skills can still walk up and take things.

It won't disappear on its own. Other people can steal from those if they aren't protected. Well, just like any container
