Questions about fruit trees

A couple questions regarding fruit trees please?
1. How long does it take them to reach full size? I have an apple tree I planted last week that doesn't seem to be getting bigger, and yet the one I planted yesterday (and three mulberries) is already half it's size which brings me to...

2. Are the types of fruit tree variable in growth speed? Those trees I planted yesterday? four of them (cherry trees) are already the size of that first apple tree I planted last week while the other 4 are half it's size. I planted 4 cherries, 4 mulberries, and another apple yesterday. one of the mulberries became a stick and so could not be planted.

3. Are they supposed to be completely leafless and dead looking? I assume this has to do with the season, but I worry that I might be wrong about that.

and 4. will the fruit rot if I don't pick it? I have yet to see fruit on any of the trees though, so I assume they aren't fully grown yet.
Thanks for the answers!

1. Fruit trees will be fully grown as soon as the season changes.

2. No.

3. Fruit trees are always bare of leaves during cold snaps.

4. The fruit won't rot if you leave it on the tree, however fruit only grows during everbloom and if it is still on the tree when that season ends it will disappear.

sounds like everything is fine, don't worry. when everbloom comes everything will be full sized and leafy.

An additional question regarding fruits:

How many fruits a tree gives each everbloom season?

A cherry tree gives 10 cherries; a plum tree gives 4 plums. Those are the only fruits I have so far.

Other stuff:

It's very random. If you're lucky, a tree will blossom fairly early into Everbloom (I have raider- and farmer-mode trees turned on in Latikai):

Then, as I understand it, it checks to see if it is being pollinated by a bee skep and/or butterfly conservatory.

You pick the fruit, which you can then plant in a gardening pot. If it succeeds (doesn't turn into a stick or beaming sunflower), it will look like this (plum tree in this example):

You can then plant it during Everbloom. It takes them a while to grow to full size (like a bush). 2 days? Roughly?

I don't know. I have very limited fruit tree experience. But it seems like there are people who know even less than I do.

That explains how people managed to get a bunch of fruit into the market stalls all at once. Makes it so that pile of (at last count) 47 cherries, 21 apples, and ?? mulberries sitting in one of the stalls in town less of a tragedy and more of a "goddamnit."

Thanks for the answers everyone. One more question, can the rotten fruit be planted?

No. You can throw them at people in the stocks (might need http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Sanctio ... tification but I'm not sure) or you can use them as a pretty decent fertilizer (http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Agricul ... eld_Values).

Not sure what other uses they have.

Just a small note. You can plant them whenever you want. You don't have to wait until Everbloom.

Edit: And the amount of harvests are Mulberry/Cherry 10, Persimmon 7, Apple/Pear 6, Peach/Plum 4.
