Not sure if anyone has played with firearms recently. But the musket took me 5 shots to finally land a hit on a deer. Seems there is a chance to miss targets. Was wondering if anyone has experienced and knew about this before?

you need to actually hit. Works fine for me. Though damage is a lil strange to understand not 100% on wether its bile dependant for animals.

Are they good for hunting spiders now with the non-% damage?

It seems like spiders web a hell of a lot more than they used to. Maybe it's just me.

They still do almost no damage, but it drags things out.

Well if the aim was more consistent then yes it would be. I did something like 45 Dmg to the deer. Again same with neiro not sure if it is dependent on biles, artifacts, or sparks and embers. Was wearing a mining set when I shot the deer and my sparks and embers is fairly high.

I'd say its bile dependant but its a strange metric as it seems to depend on hard biles as well but might be black bile?

Just kill spiders with polearm. Make sure you 1shot and they wont web you.

Fire arms do 35% damage, so three hits should kill any animal.

JC changed it to be 35% to people. Animals it is based off something else. A deer has roughly 50 hit points. I hit it for 45.

You can easily kill a deer with a halberd always walking near him before giving 1 bash (or walking besides a stomp)

Was just using the deer as target practice. Wanted to see what the changes did.

Its bile dependant. I do more dmg than you on my alt with ok biles but sad s&e
