I chopped a tree close to my wall and it fell into my wall and is stuck there:

Any advice how to get rid of it without tearing down my wall?

If I leave it there, will it help raiders in any way?

You can only try "chop blocks" - other way is just destroy wall
And this will not help raiders, but its really annoying

I think you can get it by destroying only the wooden fence. As it is on your claim, you can do it and it won't damage the stone wall. No other solution as I know.

Tried chop blocks, didn't work either.

Anyway.. it is my first base. Good to learn stuff and understand how a base works. Will probably move to better location in a few months anyway and start fresh with a better layout...

Just remember that a tree will fall way from whoever strikes the last blow. Its also a good tip to remove all trees around the outside of your base least a pesky troll comes along and knocks one into your walls for ***** and giggles.

Lol, it happens... In my rush to get my walls set up, as I was blasting along slamming down segments I briefly admired my work and noticed I had neglected to move those felled trees out of the way before building right over them u_u Embarrassing, but luckily since I had just built the wall it was easy to tear down without splash and rebuild.

If you're lucky enough for it to have been less than 1 week since you build the split rail then just tear down a couple segments to get at it and rebuild them... It won't have any negative effect but it will annoy you forever haha. If it's been more than a week then split rail isn't that bad to repair from the splash anyways. Just get it fixed and learn not to do it again

... and another Salem lesson learned

Will take you like 5 minutes to remove the split rail then pick up the tree. The middle part where you align on the tree is just into the split rail fence. Just get to smashing.

Another strange solution is to ask a wall basher here on the forums. =p

Maybe someone will appear "to help" with the real intention to raid your base - but I guess that you can trap them while they're bashing and them attack/kill them
