btw what happens to chars online when the server crashes? Do they still count as "logged in" when the server is up again?

Or more precisely: Will I get madness because I haven't logged out correctly when the server is online again and I have no chance to login again to correctly end my play session (e.g. go to sleep in a bed)?

If so, I must check forums and as soon as the server is up I should take care of my "crashed" char...

everything freezes, your timers wont tick down, and you dont get madness

Your character is logged out. You wont invoke insanity gains for the time the server is down or the time from when it comes back to when you log in.
