Is money in Claimstone safe?

I suppose it is, because it is the tax I pay for the claimed land to the king. Or is the prepaid amount for the next weeks available for theft?

If it is safe, then I suppose the best way to use your money is (without a strong defended base):
- surplus not needed in the next time : Pay claimstone rent
- If claimstone is full of money and I do not need the money at the moment -> put it in the bank

Is this the correct way to think? At the moment my property is not safe. No reasonable fence. No lock.

There is no way someone can take the silver out of a claim stone but it can be destroyed if its empty (not payed). The only way someone can destroy payed claim stone is with a canon and there are no canons on Providence.

paid claimstones can also be removed with eminent domain from an encompassing town claim. Don't underestimate it.

Yeah, that is right. But they would have to pay to do so and the silver they payed will end up in your bank account. So for the full defense you wanna have your own town claim protecting the claim stone.

Hello,

Btw, an encompassing town claim must be built in a limit (50 tiles ?) to remove your stone. So if your own claim is large enough (more than 50 tiles in all directions around your claim stone), is it possible to loose it ? To say it with other words, is it possible to build a town bell (or a boundry stone) that will remove my stone if my claim is large enough ?

The larger your claim the more Authority a town needs to remove it. If you really, REALLY, annoy someone or they think your claim is worth it they could spam Banners until they had enough authority to declaim you - but it would cost them a lot of silver (though to some that is not much of an issue). Most very big claims would just have to worry about Villages that start up in their area rather then raiders belling them for the heck of it.
Having a town bell however dose give you a slight advantage when it comes to being raided since the attacker will need to place a waste down to brake anything on your claim, such as walls. This gives you a 24 hour notice that something nasty is coming your way.

Thank you :)

If I understand well it's not just a matter of space but also of authority. I'll dig this subject.

I'm a bit confused now.
Cross of Saint George from wiki : "Its purpose is not to expand the borders of a town"

From what I think to have understood recently is that the raider must do both :
1/ cover my pclaim stone with their village
2/ then raise authority with crosses as needed to invoke Eminent Domain

So if the pclaim is big enough they can't do (1), thus they can't do (2).

Actually you meant : it's larger, so more silvers in stone so they need more authority ?
But if the pclaim it's too large then the waste claim doesn't cover the stone so it's pointless, isn't it ?

EDIT : ok now it's more clear thanks to jakholin viewtopic.php?p=250110#p250110
