Posted: Mon Feb 08, 2016 3:23 amwell my question was answered and now I know the weight of the gem determines the affluence bonus. This one weighed 3.87 carats. Not sure how to post a picture of it on the forum .

Fun Fact: it is entirely possible to get Gems with over +1000 Affluence on a single gem. But gems of those sizes are of course incredibly rare.
