Salem

Hi all,

I'm back playing Salem again (stopped somewhere 2013/2014-ish). I am wondering if I can still use my old cartographer tool. I can't seem to locate the map files.

C:\Users\{your windows user}\Salem\map

There are two files one for popham and one for providence. The old map tool should work. I believe the one I am using is from that time.

nothing changed to the maps - old map tools will still just work.
However, make sure your custom client is actually saving the map tiles (in the options menu). the default client does not do this that i am aware of.

That is where it used to be, but there are only 2 folders: game.salemthegame.com and plymouth.seatribe.se. They both contain only old map files.

Apparently last time I played was May 5. 2014
