Muddy Land

Postby Fidgety » Tue Jan 26, 2016 12:06 am

Hi, Been playing salem for a few days now and am getting to like it.

Just started building my first house and am flattening some ground. I changed the location of the house after being told the ground wasn't flat enough. Had to pull up paveing 2 more times before i finally got used to leveling the land out.

Anyway, my question is this. On the previous site where I dug up the paving. Will the land turn leafy and green again after a while? It bugs me having a nasty muddy patch behind my future house reminding me of my mistake.

It will slowly become like surrounding area. Best pave it if you want it to look pretty.

It takes awhile but yeah the biome grows back. Note that if you disturb a very large continuous swath of land the biome takes much longer since it has to creep back in from the edges and may not have the same natural splotchy look that biomes normally have (it will be mostly solid green or mostly solid brown in a splotchy green/brown biome), however this is very unlikely to be a noticeable effect for some 4x4 area or however big the house paving was.
