Hi,
can somone just destroy my claim stone and shut down all defence in the base ?

I ask as I have found some bases that have no claim stone and seems to be raided.

There are four ways in which a pclaim can be destroyed

1) The first is if you do not pay the upkeep, and someone gains access to it, they are able destroy it (which will leave a scent and drop any items in your inventory on the ground if it is your homestead)

2) You 'De-claim" the stone, essentially giving the area up

3) Some one with waste permissions on your claim may destroy the stone if they have access to it (Does not leave a scent, I'm not sure if this works if the stone is paid)

4) Some one builds a town bell near your p claim and uses "Eminent domain" essentially buying out your p claim at an inflated rate. (I've heard you receive silver back in this case proportional to the cost of your p claim, but I've never been on the receiving end of a domain, so i'm not sure.)

Thanks That last option no 4 that shounds crazy. I was supecting that town bell can be used like that but its no fair with players around that have milion of silver or at least few 100K.

I plan vacation about 10 day I doubt my claim will survie.

As a general rule unless it takes a -very- appealing pclaim to be worth putting a bell down for, as it's still a pretty large investment of materials, and time, even if the silver cost in negligible for some players. Just be sure to pay your claim stone before you leave, and have a full wall up, waste scents last 10-ish days so you'll still have a chance for justice even if some one breaks and enters

If you mean, you think someone will raid it? I don't know about that

But if you mean, will the silver last for 10 days, then yes. A full silver claimstone lasts for 2 months
