If u put a grub in a container it will turn into a bettle but if u keep it in your inventory will it turna into a bettle too?

yes, they will turn into beetles a set time after spawning, it does not matter where they are.

[Propulsion]

You can keep them grubs, but you have to move them around in your inventory/container every so often( 24 hours or less ) or they will turn to beetles.
