If a mine entrance is destroyed, are the mine levels it connects to also destroyed? or is it still intact and you can simply build the entrance again and regain access to everything that was there before?

One can not destroy a mine entrance once it is built.

That's a definite change.

So Mine Entrances are indestructible? Any levels once discovered... have same immunity?]

What if one goes... 10-15 Mine support lengths to discover next level down (or just for discovery purposes) ... and then all supports between are destroyed and they purposely cause cave ins along whole route. (say they made blowdarts and then attempted to hide it via such)... so much that anyone that returns after (heir or another) can't see it on mini-map... is it possible to discover another entrance down or will they be required to mine through all the cave ins to 'rediscover' the next level?

PS- notice scents are like objects that can never moved...thinking maybe scents work better than Mine supports in the short term... or not? Dropping 'tons' of rock of them is a sure fire way to avoid detection...and/or was this covered in the super secret patch notes nobody has access too now the game is live?

This is not a change. Mine entrances have always been indestructible. If you destroy all supports in a mine and make cave-ins, the entrance to the next level will be just fine in the middle of all that rubble waiting for someone to dig it out. Being buried behind rubble is not at all the same thing as being destroyed.
