Character robbed while logged out

I just logged into my account - and my character is suddenly completely naked and with complete empty inventory.
and 3 purses are gone with ~ 900 silver

I never comitted a crime - I was not knocked out as I didn't wake up at my home stead.

What the f*** happened?

Bug? Robbery? if so how?

you got robbed most likely, should check for scents.

how is it possible to be robbed when not logged in?

I couldn't be summoned as I didn't comitt a crime


This is one of the highly frustating issues in this game and I get doubts to invest further money and time in playing if things like that are happening (and not documented that they are happening - I know its a sandbox and you can lose stuff - but if your account is not safe when you are logged off (while you are not a criminal) I would be an idiot to buy further silver etc )

Toggle tracking then move away from the area a bit and go back. You should see scents if you do that

my homestead was destroyed - one of my purses (emptied) was left in a tree trunk nearby - no scents there...

I find this mechanic highly illogical... as in the end I can be robbed and can't do much about it....

theres a few things u can do

1) join a town
2) make a pclaim full of walls and defense
3) move far away and hope noone will find you.

Larceny scents last 9 days. Have you not logged in for longer than that?

If you're naked and complete inventory gone, I would assume that your leanto was claimed over and destroyed(in which case, there would be no scents), and when you logged in, you woke up in Providence naked. If this is so, how did you get back to the area of your homestead?

No problem....... it honestly is a good idea
Protect your HS and your items are safe sounds good to me
On another note, if your lento was destroyed but still no scents this means that someone placed a pclaim over your lento so they were allowed to destroy it without scents.
P.S A pclaim and a split rail fence will protect you from most of the server (players like Heffernan)
