Noob question

As I was walking along, trying to find a place I wanted to set up shop, I came across a couple unclaimed leanto's. Being afraid of losing my outward progress from my starting location, I claimed these leanto's. Now, the game thinks I have four seperate homesteads, but I only want one. How do I get rid of my old homesteads? Thanks for your help!

How do you know that the game thinks you have 4 homesteads? Normally, if you click a leanto and choose "Make Homestead" then the old homestead is overwritten.

It sometimes shows an arrow to your old homestead when you claim a new one, but you only have one homestead. You can have multiple claims, but the client doesn't point or indicate the direction of these claims, and you cannot port to them unless they are your homestead.

Just log out and back in and the old arrows should go away and leave the one arrow that points to your claimed leanto.
