I am playing on the new roenoke server(sorry if i misspelled the name) and went of to find my new way as a pilgrim. only problem is i can only go so far south then an invisible wall apperently stops me from moving any further south. Is this maybe the start of darkness and i need a certain skill to proceed? please help if you can.

No skills needed. This is just simply the extent of how much of the server is "built." If you wish to find the darkness, try in another direction. It might build up more later or this is all the larger they are making the world for now.

So is it possible there is no darkness in roenoke yet?

Well, not in the direction you went. You might try north, west, or east (haven't logged in to see which way is the ocean... assuming west, but you can never be sure).

Yeah ocean is west, not to happy though seeing as how the huge mountain range in middle of map extends into this invisible wall so w/o extensive training in climbing only north will get you around to the other side. but ill make the best of it and hope they expand south. thanks for your help.

When plymouth was first released there was such an invisible wall for the first couple days, then it came down. No idea why, but it's possible the map isn't entirely generated right away. They could generate a smaller area to get people started, and then run additional generation algorithms to expand is afterwards?

Just a guess. You'd have to ask loftar about it.

If you hang around irc enough you'll see them pop by once in a while. That's what I was referring to
