How to bury a coffin?

Wiki is kind of useless in telling you exactly how you bury a coffin, since its apparently not by right clicking.

do you really have to just dig and then cover it with dirt?

Make a coffin, place a skeleton in it, pick the coffin up over head, and right click the location you want to place. It should give the image of the tombstone like any other structure being placed. Place it like any other structure and poof. ..tombstone.

oh. I guess it was just the ground I was trying to bury it on. I guess i got confused since I saw a few other tombstones on the pavement where I was trying to place it

What's the perk for building/using Crypt?

Crypts cannot be robbed. You need to burn it down in order to grave rob.
Also offers more protection from witches desecrating bodies/skeletons.
