Is there anyway to know if a kin has died by looking at your buddy list?

Nope. At least, not until the dead person in mind becomes a skeleton I believe. Other than that, a person will show up as kinned until you remove them vice versa. It's probably best to keep people you wish to stay in contact with through other means such as the forums or voice chat.

Actually there is as you will see them always connected when they are dead until they turn into a skeleton (unless it has changed). If you whisper to them then it will say the person is not connected.

If this happens to a friend of yours then there are a few solutions:

a) He is dead.
b) He is passed out on an ennemy claim.
c) He is logged off and on the stocks.
d) He didnt properly close his game.


Probably more cases that I cannot think of.
