TbF Questions

I have some questions about Trial By Fires since the wiki seems to be lacking and I think It'd be better to get them all answered in this one thread rather than spend what could be hours finding each and every detail.

Question 1: Do Trial By Fires takes silver to keep up and running like PClaims and Town Bells?

Question 2: Do Trial By Fires cover themselves in the waste claim coverage or not? I've seen around that people can cover their Trial By Fires with town bells so I was thinking they don't cover themselves...

Question 3xxx(Not TbF Question directly but indirect question towards fighting off TbF): Can cannons take down walls if its outside a Town covered area? What is the recipe to build a cannon, can't find it on the wiki. Can you light a cannon while its in a town claim even though town claims do not allow most if not all actions on the property so that a cannon can take down a TbF or TownClaim while they are still active?

The picture below depicts a base meant to countermeasure with the fact in mind of sieging towns built next to other towns.

With some theory crafting and forum reading ...
Of course it is still possible for someone to build a town claim and remove the PClaim covering the TbF, but until the walls are broken into the defenders have chance to remove said Townbell covering it since it is under effect of the Waste coverage.
Is this the best way to counter TbF's surrounding a town but not being able to fight back without wasting excessive materials constructing a TbF new walls/own sieging town while under attack and using up a lot of silver waiting around for your own TbF's to activate after 20 hours?

1. Yes, but they take silver from the bell you build them from. You can't build a trial by fire unless you are a citizen of a town and have permission to build authority structures in that town. Once built, the TbF drains silver very quickly, meaning you have to keep an eye on your host bell lest it drain out.

2. Yes, anything under the waste claim is vulnerable, no matter who's town it is. The TbF itself cannot be claimed. That's why people talk about 'donut' claims. A TbF can be partially protected by building town objects around it. These objects can be destroyed once the TbF is active (or if the town bell doing the 'protecting' is less than a week old, it can be destroyed immediately, no waste claim required).

3. I don't know all the ins and outs of cannons, but I can tell you they can break down anything a raider can, but they don't affect all structures. Walls are affected but otherwise I can't tell you what else is or isn't. I don't know if you can light a cannon on a claim, maybe as a crime, but they have a fairly long range so it shouldn't be a big issue.

That picture won't work, for the above stated reasons. But it is not necessary to have waste claims around your town because you can destroy any bell up to a week after it is built with no TbF present, to help avoid protective town bells. People just don't bother destroying them most of the time; they roll over and give up instead.

Both parties? It drains the town of the guy who builds the TbF.

Can anyone destroy in a town covered by a trial by fire, or only citizens of the attacking town?

So running a TbF regardless of a towns location drains silver from the town who built the TbF? I guess the idea I have would be pretty bad then since I would be throwing silver away like crazy if no one was attacking the town at the time.

I have two more question about PClaims, one is TbF related and the other isn't.

Q1: Can a PClaim only be removed by a Townbell if the member of the town who wishes to remove it can see the PClaim? I'm not talking about hiding it under some sort of weird structure placement/logs or whatever, I mean if the PClaim is big enough where a raider would have to go through several tons of walls before they had a chance to spend silver to remove the PClaim(See it), and in other words it would also cost a ton of silver to remove it.

Q2: Does a PClaim get drained of silver from a TbF or does it only drain silver of a Town/ aka Authority?
