Symptoms:Avatar Itching or "Shaking", KO'd a lot, Bleeding, Naked

Diagnosis: Itchy Britches

Fix: 1. Right click your avatar whilst stood in water and select "Resist Itching". Then Within Equipment Menu(Ctrl+E), Ctrl+click the Itchy Britches to remove?
Fix: 2.Right click your avatar and Resist Itching 3 times. Then Within Equipment Menu, Ctrl+click the Itchy Britches to remove

I'm bleeding.

I was foraging around when I suddenly noticed I was bleeding. Shortly after collecting nothing new, except some new flower I hadn't seen before (turns out it was a Spring Beauty)

I am now stuck bleeding forever. I've used a tourniquet twice now. It's done nothing. The Bleed still randomly affects my character and doesn't stop when I am KO'd.

This is not a bat I have checked.

I keep having to respawn and I've lost at least 30 or so levels on my stats.


(This is after I've logged out twice already so it doesn't show how many more levels I've lost.)

I want to know why this has happened?
..and if you're going to recompense me.

My character was permakilled by a disease which I got from the free gifts that YOU DEVS gave me in my mailbox.
I even used every single remedy at least 10 times over and it didn't cure the Disease that I received from YOU, so I died..

Now I'm stuck on an infinite loop of bleed which is just lowering my stats..
Fix it please. It's become a nuisance.

I won't be playing until it's sorted. It's ridiculous that I've come across two class A. game destroying bugs like that in the space of a few days. Do you have ANY Q-A?!

There's no logical reason that there isn't a remedy for a disease, or having a perma-bleed.. There's no reason for these mechanics, so this must be a bug and i've fallen victim now with my entire last character and my new one and it tooks 3- 4 days. If I have to restart the game every 4 days what's the point?!

Do you have madness levels? If so you probably have a itchy britches and you are scratching yourself causing you to ko from bleed. If I can recall correctly you must right click yourself to stop scratching. Once you stop go heal your madness and you should be good.

PS: Look at your pants slot for itchy britches to see if you have any on

I'm going to guess that you keep scratching your ass thinking it is your brain. Check your equipment.

Heal madness?

Funny this all happened after I made a trumpet to cure my madness already. How does this is occur how can I prevent this happening, because as far as I could tell it was just random onset. No trigger.

I do have itchy britches but curing madness to fix?!

How do I get leafs on my genitals from nowhere?!

Did I go momentarily insane, get naked and rub leaves on my ****?! is this some sort of aphrodisiac?

yes, insane people are frequently sexual deviants.

It is an aphrodisiac, yes, but to only one creature. The one known as a John Carver.

You got the itchy britches by foraging items with a madness level. It is random, but very close if not 100% to happen eventually if you forage enough. You have to r-click to stop the itching. That will stop the worsening of the bleeding.

From what I gather from other's testimony and my memory of it happening to me is that you can't take it off until you stop the itching twice. Then stand in water and ctrl-click it off or use(r-click) a bucket of water on the equipment slot to (l-click to mouse then drop in environment)remove the itchy britches.

you are lucky anyone helped you with how you acted.

Your trumpet will not cure madness. It will decrease your insanity which will keep you from gaining madness but to decrease madness your best bet is to invest into a teddy bear and sleep with it over night. Smoking the hookah or tobacco is another alternative.

on another note no need to stand in water to resist itch, and u can remove the pants after 3 resists.
