How to get a stall?

Postby HeadAche » Sun Oct 04, 2015 9:34 am

Either I could figure out how to get a stall of mine or there is no stall that can be owned at this point?

Hello :)

You have to check the market often to see if there is a stall without the blue tent. If you see one, you can buy it.
Sometimes, people auction stalls here, too.

You should be able to do hostile takeovers of stalls.

Just like personal plots, you should be forced to pay x1.5 the stall fee, however the player who owns the stall has 7 days to check his stall to stop the purchase, if he fails to do so the new player takes ownership.

IMHO, accounts should be limited to 1 stall per account, i still really detest a single player owning multipul stalls.

I was told recently to watch for barrels and such and I thought it was the 'trade barrels' but those who really sell stuff often have smaller indicators of their activity.

If Devs can denote activity- surely they can manage lack of activity?

Likely time to force folks to start selling marketable goods or move on and let someone else have a go at it. As for the former post- I would say if you own multiple stalls you should have even less time to prove profitability (that's not just paying rent) to substantiate your ownership.

A huge market with only a handful of sellers is hardly an indication of a thriving economy.

Also you need the skill mercantilism to buy one stall i believe.

What prevents any player to have multiple accounts?

I was always proactive for paying a fee for an active account. ($1~5 per account)

Do kind of love the way HnH works, even if i have not tried it, If i had alot more time i would 100% pay for it and play it.

I know it wouldnt stop the very willing, there is also a skill requirement.

You're out of luck unless someone forgets to pay their tax or doesn't have money in their stall you probably won't be getting one anytime soon. I might let one go if you offer me a good price for it.

Actually this is the best time to keep an eye on the stalls.
The odds are the many empty stalls are owned by a small number of users who are otherwise occupied or just bored/taking a break from Salem.
They only hold so much money, and when that is eaten by the rent, the stalls will become available for purchase.

I'm hoping to net one with a better rate than the one I have now.

You need Mercantilism to unlock getting one, and the Cheap ones are about 4,000 silver. The better are as much as - I believe - 15,000.

The cheapest ones -last row- are 500 silver , the second row 1000 silver when buying them unoccupied.
