Evening out a cliff

Hi everyone,

I want to ask if it's even possible to actually even out this slope. Can I do it if I just keep digging down and then adding dirt in the right spots, or is it a lost cause?

Thanks in advance. :V

Try using CTRL+click and dig at the top of the highest cliffs, it is supposed to be a hotkey for leveling a tile but I find it works great to start grinding down cliffs from the top down. Once you level the edge, dig a little bit from the next tile away from the edge so the ground is lower so you can use CTRL+click again.... I find this works on any cliff that is straight line. Never tried on that situation you got in the very center where it has a hole of one tile with cliffs on all its edges facing eachother....

I have a chasm similar to this near my base. I was unable to find a way to level it, both diggin down from the high spots and filling in the low spots did not fix it.

Your suggestion seems to have worked, Strawman. However, I seem to have screwed myself in my eagerness to now break down the cliffs.

Is my only option to drop everything in my inventory and teleport to my homestead?

you're probably out by now, but in the future you could ask someone to pick up a lowbie sled and drop it near you then you can put dirt in the sled, then you can get out, and level from the outside.

I've been there. :(
