Doubt about mouse commands

This command does not work, someone help me?
"Shift+Alt+Click: Do the same thing with all similar items in the inventory. Example: use this to place branches into a building sign. "
I am using the official client unchanged.

I am using the official client unchanged.
Mentioned feature is related to custom clients only.

They will not do anything about the default client?

Just use custom ones. Enders or Latikai.

This is not a feature of the default client. It may be added in the future but is not a high priority item.
