i was droped in an area where is no other ppl. wut gives? i been walking for 30 mins and i seen some huts but no ppl....guys wut do i do? i want to meet and be wiff others

Meeting people in the wild can be risky since they might decide to kill you. If you are at your leanto, you can use the Adventure -> Travel -> To Providence (put it on your hotbar along with the Home one) to go to town and find people. If you are too far from your leanto and you don't want to drop your inventory to teleport from anywhere, you can build a new leanto and right click it to homestead it. You might have to learn a skill or two for that: I think you need Settling.

Alternatively, you can post in the Planters and Pilgrims forum here that you want to join a town or apply at the groups that are advertising for new members.

Do you remember the wooden construction you were standing next to when you arrived in Providence? That's your leanto and if you get knocked out, or teleport home, you will go there. You can't teleport with things in your inventory unless you are in town or next to your leanto so if you want to teleport back to it, you'll have to drop things.

Or, you can build a new leanto by finding the recipe in your construction menu. Build one and right click on it and 'make homestead' to make that leanto your new home.

Look in Adventure, the button with the cross on it for the travel actions. There is a button for going to the big public town and one for going home. That is how you teleport to and from town to meet people and get important items like your first nails.

Edit: And don't be too scared, I know it feels huge to lose your fist character, but you'll take weeks to do things the first time that you can do in a few hours or days the second time. If you do die in the next few weeks of learning the game, you'll find it pretty easy to start over. And if you don't die, you've really accomplished something.

I will also point you to a guy called GamerZakh on Youtube. He has lots of up to date tutorials to help you on your journey through Salem. Its a harsh world, full of many dangers both seen and unseen but it is well worth the risk ^.^

Read the Wiki, search the forums and ask questions. There is a lot to learn.
