So you can slot a sterling geode on one of your clothe or 2 cut gems if you got some already.

Does Moon effect more than just KO?

Smeltering, crops, etc... what else is diminished or improved?

everything else is safe - I think the only other change is that you can sometimes get a study item called a blood shard when you sift? not sure. There might be bonus effects to witches but that is just speculation.
