What's the time until the fireplace reates fire?

do you mean create? um it doesn't you have to light it with a tinder drill

If you mean as in when the heat bar (the red one) goes up, it does so in its own time. You'll simply have to wait, but once it reaches it limits, burning milkweed and such will be faster, so the waiting is much rewarded.

If you mean as in how to start a fire, craft a tinder drill and right click the fireplace. There's a chance for it to break though, so have atleast two with you to compensate for the other.

The red bar, which represents hot coals, takes about 15 minutes to appear. Anything you want to put in those 4 slots to cook requires the red bar to actually progress so don't think from previous comments that they're just taking longer without the red bar. Milkweed takes 5 seconds to char.
