How do you take down the agile bastards? I basically got chainstunned. It took it a very long time to kill me, so I don't believe it's a humor problem. Do you need to use Jump a lot?

The way im doing it, im letting it chase to me and when it's going to jump to you i dodge the jump and stomp it, then just thrust. If you don't have enough damage to get it down with 1 thrust, just repeat.

if its near ur base run back to it, close the door and stomp it trough the door/wall (inb4JC)

When I do get around to fixing this. He will leap over and permakill you and I will never be happier.

If you have low humors, run from cougar turn around show it your peen, then when it's stunned bullrun it with fully erect peen, then you should be able to get 2 "thrusts" before the stun wears off, then repeat, if that ***** isn't beaten raw.

Replace 'peen' with 'sabre' and this is almost good advice. Please remember not to troll help, RDB. ~TotalyMeow

I am reading this as:

-New Leap combat option now allows you to leap over walls. Cannot Leap while holding an item over your head. Should make it so bases can be Trespassed upon and stolen from more easily. Trespass now leaves summonable evidence.

You can also try to use trees to hide behind so it has no line of sight to you, then time your stomp right as it gets close, also, 2 old logs set up parallel to each other with just enough space to walk between them is a good option too, which reminds me of lifting logs to spawn snakes to kill bears with a low humor char, but that's another story...

Most importantly though, you need to have an eye on your map, their aggro radius is huge, but less than the distance at which you can see him.

On default client or unedited radar you should rely on your ears: when you first see a new cougar, it roars.

Using obstacles and AOE will give you the biggest advantage.
