How do I let my alt access my base?

I have a small fenced in area with a gate. Next to it I have a small garden with several tilled fields. All of that is under my pclaim. How can I give my alt access so that he can at least walk across the fields? Is it possible to give him access so that he can add/remove items from any storage bins/crates too?

Give your alt a colour in your kinlist, then set permissions for that color on your claimstone
Trespassing lets him cross your fields, larceny grants him access to your storage.

Does he, (my alt), have to have those skills in order to do that?

no, when you right-click your claimstone you can set permissions to these actions
you see different coloured squares with checkboxes below, choose a colour, check the boxes, give your alt the same colour.
