Alchemy Status

Hi,
The wiki :
http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Alchemy says, that the alchemy is under development currently, and the only thing that work you can put in the alchemy table is the steam distiller. Is that right i would like to know before I learn this skill.

yes, the alchemy system is unused/undeveloped right now. The only use for alchemy tables is distillers and their rose otto/dehydrated roses/berry juice/dehydrated berries/...

Thank you very much for answers, my last question: is there alchemy update on the schedule? Or the devs don't plan and changes in it in near future.

Nothing planned in the near future, but what you get out of alchemy now is enough to make getting the skill worth it for most people.

in beta there was an incredibly complex alchemy system but it all revolved around a purity system which is no longer in use lol...
