Boston no longer safe zone?

I logged out in Boston yesterday, I logged in and my character is gone. I haven't committed any crimes so what could have happened?

There character was kind of old and when I logged in two days ago after being gone for awhile. Only played for like 3 hours at most since then.

You didn't probably have a leanto. In this case your character stayed online and died.

also dont use force closing client to log out. use the button or :act lo

or people can keep you logged in forever when you force closed client or you just couldnt log out properly and stay online for much time and die from madness
