Cloth purity

Does cloth purity matter for anything? Does it factor into tailoring clothes in any way? Looked for this on the forums but couldn't find. Thank you for any info!

afaik its useless on cloth and doesnt affect making clothes.

It's nearly useless: The only thing pure cotton is used for is the production of pure fiber netting, which lets you catch pure fish in your fishing traps
