How to build a "bad guy"?

Ok, I have been playing a couple months, (+/-), now with my character on Prov.
I'm kicking around the idea of creating a thief just to see what it's like. I have no expectations of him living very long or being any good at his chosen profession. Where does one begin when heading down that path?

Begin by making the character, glutton him and skill him

this is what a character should have ATLEAST if you are going to raid

1) not use ur main

Biles ATLEAST 50/20/40/100

you need Phlegm to bash pclaims, blood to take damage from braziers/Torches (they do a small portion 2-3dmg in blood when they hit a critical) yellow bile to take the loot home, black bile to do crimes

skills: Larceny, Waste, Yellow Belly, Collector

and if u like Compacts & Constitutions incase u find a old townclaim and can/want to take it

also buckets with black/white tea, a Flask and rattler serum.

Ok, thanks for the info guys.

Next question/s. If I do manage to successfully pilfer something how do I get those items to another character? If we have the crime debuff we are unable to port home or to Providence, right? Can we logoff?
If I wanted to transfer these items from the thief to my main, how does that happen?

Sorry for all the newb questions but it seems like an interesting facet of gameplay.

Thanks!

You only need 50 black bile to steal from leantos and unprotected claims bring black tea.
and to transfer goods you have to walk this is why people use giant crickets.

Or build a leanto to port to providence and walk back to your base. Use landmark travels if possible

40*

and 40 is cost only for leanto and character robbing

as soon as he enters a claim he starts draining 0.5 black bile so as soon as hes at a leanto hes in best situations for him at 39.5 BB so he wont be able to steal anyway.

How much BB does a waste action drain? The only thing I've been able to find is that it is "significantly more" than previous code before raid update. Also, is brazier non-critical dmg 6 or 8? These are nice things to know for base defense as well as a criminal.

If any veteran sees this, what sort of range would you guess a long time raider's BB might be at? There was a post recently where someone said he had 6 braziers and 2 torchposts and was shocked that anyone could make it out alive off his claim. I was not at all shocked by this, but in setting up my own defenses, I wonder if I need to defend myself from a 1000 BB character.
