Full scenario:
1) Previous Character got scalped
2) New Character Inherited claims (w/o estate planning which I thought was weird)
3) Claims have braziers
4) While Scalped Character owned claims, braziers took down a trespasser
5) Someone trespassed twice on the now inherited claims and did not get taken down
Is this expected and some nuance of having the Trespassing skill?

for point number 2 estate planning simply allow the inheriting char to get a bigger % of stats and prof from his ancestor
and for the end result, if the guy has enough humor he might not get ko by the braziers.
the braziers wont simply ko anyone that commits crime, they deal a certain amount of dmg to humors and if one of the criminal humor drops below zero, he Ko otherwise he can leave juste fine.

Well, right, but I figured having to get through 6 braziers would've dropped just bout anyone.

No, that many defenses won't stop everyone. It'll stop a lot of people, but not all of them.

There are some big boys out there...i saw jc part superhero i think he said a brazier every two tiles should keep most out, or maybe it was two braziers per wall tile...either way, should give you an idea how many you may need to add for your claim size.

A brazier every two tiles is what he would have said because that is the limit for how close you can build them together.
