Out wandering around and come across someone's abandoned base with lots of goodies left behind or maybe I find a good lime deposit location , how can I set a marker on my map so I can always find my way back. Similar to the marker pointing to your homestead.

If you're using a custom client like Ender's, map tiles from each play session are saved in the folder ...\Salem\map\game.salemthegame.com

You can direct a mapping program to this folder to create a persistent map of what you've seen, and make markers on that map. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9617
