Ok, so I must be missing something on branding, because it is hit or miss if it lets me brand my animals. Anyone know the specifics? I light the brand, have the animal on a rope and no option. It has let me a few times right as soon as I purchase, others not for a while. I am lost.

Strange. Let me know if you isolate the cause of this. You cannot brand the same animal twice but I'm not sure what would cause an animal to be unbrandable from the beginning.

I have 2 baby pigs from the popham event, and pigs that have grown to adults, I have never been able to brand them. Another animal aquired from the event was branded just fine.

This is what i have noticed. babies do not carry over branding or their name when they grow up. I found that I only had the brand option for a short time after buying them or after they grew up.

Interesting. Yes I can see babies shedding their brands. Although I"m not quite sure about why the ability to brand an unbranded animal would expire.

We found two rams in the wild and branded them. But my pigs i have never been able to brand. Most allow me to right away, but i have a couple sheep and a goat that won't allow me to.

I'm guessing, no brand, no ride on the ark?

About branding... shouldnt there be a MM logo replacing the seatribe one in the load screen?!

Had a baby calf today while at work...can't be branded.

Jokes aside, can't wait for animal bugs to be ironed out. Just for the sake of delivering a polished mechanic to Providence.

I have pushed on thru the deaths (and jokes in skype lol), but I am guessing.. no brand, no ark, if so, kind of sucks that all of my cows, (and pigs) which couldn't be branded, are wasted.
