Hi.
I bought pigs, they put feeders and locked in the pen, but they no longer eat food.
How long will they grow?
Will they even eat the food?

They will eat food every 8-24 hours depending on how fast their metabolism is.

Ah you mean the bars? No, you can think of those as the genetics of the animals. They are born with those stats and you can only raise or lower them through selective breeding.
Lots of things effect the happiness of animals. They particularly do not like unlubricated suppositories being inserted, or males do not like being presented with a female from time to time. To raise it you can play with them as babies or feed them treats as adults.

Red = Ornery: The animals tendency to be born upset, and how often he gets upset throughout life. I.E. how easy it is for his temperament to rise.
Green = Vulnerability: How easy it is that he gets diseased.
Yellow = Metabolism: How quickly he eats.

For those first 3 bars you want them as low as possible.

Orange = Size: How much meat you get when you butcher them.
Blue = Product: How much milk, wool, lard etc. you get when you otherwise interact with them.
Purple = Longevity: How long the animal will live.

For the last 3 bars you want them as high as possible.

The happiness of your animal can be viewed by the Temperament stat that displays below the bars.

Depends on if you are playing romantic music for them with instruments. If not it can take a few days.

Yes they are happy when they are reproducing.
