Turkey eggs

Postby Everburning92 » Tue Oct 23, 2012 9:06 pm

I have some turkey eggs that spawned with a progress bar, but I went to shift it, and now the progress bar is gone.

Questions are, do turkey eggs need to be under hens to hatch, and are all eggs meant to hatch or some are just meant to be eggs no matter what, and finally, my reason for shifting the egg was that I thought eggs spawn directly under hens, so by shifting it I gave it space for more eggs, is this how it works?

If you want the eggs to hatch then don't move them. If you're just going to cook them for eating then you can put them wherever you want, they won't hatch outside the coop. They won't 'die' outside the coop, unlike the Hens and Gobblers which eventually croak, but they won't hatch either. Once the chick has hatched you can move them around, but keep them inside the coop until full-grown or they'll die too eventually.

So I guess I have to remove these eggs that are currently in the coop? They don't seem to be growing anymore.

Leave them in your coop they will hatch.

No, if progress bar is gone then egg is dead and it will never hatch. Help forum is not the place for trolling and lying

I don't think Gacrux is lying/trolling, but procne is correct about the eggs. Once they lose their progress bar they become unhatchable to my knowledge.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
