today i noticed ,before i go hunting was level 0 of madness and was cooking too much and whitting ,and after i walk to deep darkness to hunt about 2-3 hours ,killed about 15 hudrukkeys ,6 wishpoohes ,tons of snakes and 4 big snakes and got 1 level of madness ,so am i getting madness while hunting darkness monsters ?
before all of this while i was sleeping in the bad got 1 more level of madness ,i'm crying ,really crying ..................all week i didn't get any madness and now it happened ,but all week i was doing same things ....this system is weird and it takes me away because i can;t use even steel tools with 1 level of madness

I think it's seeing the darkness monsters on the minimap that adds madness. It's annoying but when I go out I try to study wood choppings and cheap stuff, daisy petals, meat shreds, and pick milkweed when there's some in my way. That way you'll likely not get the madness level. I also save my hookah timer for when I eventually fail and get the madness level

well it is sad that this timer you can use just 1 time in 24 hours ,and it's annoying me ,because now i need to wait until this timer or sleep 8 hours ...

Well I don't have big experience in this game but I know that Lumber Lord adds you 1 madness level. I've also seen alot of darkness animals and still I haven't gained single madnes level but after seeing three quetzalcoatls i've recived 1 madness lvl.

you will gain insanity every time a monster pops up on your map.
