Giant cricket

Postby Unrespected » Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:35 am

hi maybe someone can help me figure this out

So I got a giant cricket but for some reason I can only interact with items, the problem is that i can't lift anything while riding, is this normal or am i missing something?

Edit: I can't build anything and i can't interact with objects that require something else, for example adding coal to the ore smelter.

Certain things cant be used while on the cricket mount, im not sure if its because of the collision box of the cricket, or because you simply cant do that while riding a mount. Doesn't seem like a bug to me.

My assumption would be that you must grace the ground with your own two feet to do useful work, forsaking the none too graceful ride of old Jiminy Cricket for a period. It's a faintly absurd substitute for a horse that you don't pay good silver for, it's not gonna be good for EVERYTHING. You are not intended to live on cricket back until the one of you is gone for good, whether by despawn or character death.

(This is something that is discouraged on Ultima Freeshards as well. You either do not get mounts, or do not get to fight on them there, because the de jure standard on the normal game and some stupid free shards is people running around and fighting like jackasses on Ostards and stuff and messing up the game balance.)

Don't try to lift anything while on a cricket. Certain things haven't been fool proofed yet, like taking out urns or pots from the kiln, which will bug you out and an admin will have to come and KO you or whatever they do to save someone in that kinda situation.

The Cricket will despawn if the Area is unloaded from server cache.
This can happen in different priod of time. It depends on the server itself.
It despawned directly if the server will be restart.

the overworld tiles usually unloads within 20-30 minutes after the last character in the vicinity leaving. Interiors like houses etc. can happen much faster.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

This is my form! I made my cricket, and an hour later the server crashed...
