I am looking for tips to use a spanish sabre with good effectiveness because I just tried versus a deer and I got Ko'ed :)
So, what's the trick to be effective with fencing ?

Thanks a lot !

Stomp before you thrust, and learn to aim.

Stomp is so bad.

L2Bullrun

Also at lower levels its easier to punch and uppercut a deer untill you can 2 thurst kill it(After your bullrun)

Before fencing I personally prefer "Hide & Seek" with the deer behind trees and other collidable objects. Deers can still yolocharge you from point blank range, as many as YOLO times in a row. So best to not give it the chance :p

that is 100% not correct. I have never had a deer do this point blank. ever.

While it's anecdotal evidence vs anecdotal evidence, I promise you i'm not making it up. I've had it happen more than once and every time I think "maybe the whole advice about sticking next to it will work this time" and a lot of times it backfires. Might be I got unlucky, hopefully whoever ends up listening to either advice doesn't get maimed.

That's not logic, doesn't work that way. If it happened at least once then it can happen again. It happened to me multiple times and I've seen deer attack other animals in this fashion.
